Community Makers Night
Valentine Edition | February 2026
Makers got to make a stained glass candle from repurposed materials right in our community to take home or gift to a loved one, as well as make a Valentine card that was given to local senior citizens. We got to be creative, get messy all while making an impact!
The Impact
- 91 heartfelt Valentine cards created
- 80 delivered to seniors at Sunrise of Springfield
- 11 delivered to local West Springfield Police
- Over 74 lbs of materials was collected and saved from the landfills and much of it was repurposed and used for our candles and cards!

St.Patricks Edition | March 2026
Makers got to make a shamrock shaped seed starter from recycled mail right in our community to take home and plant or gift to grow, as well as decorate a tile that was apart of a large rainbow mural gifted to Second Story of teens in crisis shelter. We got to grow something magical from junk mail and share the luck!
The Impact
- 120 beautiful flowers will bloom this Spring
- 240 individual tiles were decorated with care and love
- One beautiful rainbow art piece was given to Second Story of Teens in Crisis to be reminded that they matter
